FAQ

You still see more. Our bushwalk is a nice scenic round walk (rather than a walk to a lookout). It takes less time for 10 guests to get on and off the minibus. Plus minibus can take roads not suitable to bigger buses

No. You can not see koala. Koalas were not spotted in upper parts of the Blue Mountains since 1940’s.

We visit the main lookouts before big buses arrive. We also include local’s favourites

The Blue Mountains is located 110km west of Sydney, only 1.5hr by minibus.

We are visiting upper parts of the Blue Mountains located in 900m-1000m of elevation. Different weather to Sydney. Please read our post showing monthly mean temperatures and rainfall. See our post

Our tours are small group tours of 10 guests. Most of the tour operator have small group of 22-28 guests. Our bushwalk in Wentworth Falls is round scenic walk, others visit just lookouts. It is an easy walk, beware with some steps, natural track. Not suitable if you have any walking difficulties. No time wasting & arriving before others allows you to enjoy intimate locations. Return to Sydney at 5.20pm.

The atmosphere is filled with droplets of Eucalyptus oil, which, in combination with dust particles and water vapour, scatter the light, giving them blue haze.  That’s why they are blue.

A lot. Over one million hectares of World Heritage-listed bushland densely populated by Eucalyptus trees.
